Brunello di Montalcino

Brunello di Montalcino is a red wine, produced in the vineyards surrounding the town of Montalcino in Italy. Brunello is a synonym for Sangiovese in Italian. Brunello is one of the most well-known (and expensive) wines of Italy, comparable to France's great Bordeaux wines.

A less pricey alternative is the Rosso di Montalcino.
