Italian Foodie Bible
Calling all lovers of Italian food...
I've just found an absolutely brilliant cookbook. It's called "The Silver Spoon" and it has over a thousand recipes. They say it's the only cookbook most Italians have. (The English edition hasn't been around for long, but the original has been around for decades.) It's not particularly glossy or stylish, but there are just so many typical Italian home-cooking recipes. Highly recommended.

I agree that this is a great book....but almost too big, a good reference book though. Jamie Oliver's Italy cookbook is also good...
