property in Tuscany

Just back recently from a marvellous holiday in Tuscany. We spent time in Elba , Pisa , Florence and Via Reggio. Really loved Elba.
We are considering all options with respect to property abroad. Has anyone explored these areas and could you advise of your sources for keeping an eye on available properties. We did some investigations while there but any advice would be great. thx.
